San Diego Zoo

We made a last minute decision to take the trip we've been talking about for a year. We made it a surprise for the kids. It started out with a magnificent sunrise Friday am. Thank You, God. We spent the first day on the beach. It was about 70 degrees. We did bumper cars and some sort of ride that tried to fling your stomach out. Then we splurged on waffle cones-the ones dipped in chocolate and sprinkles! We swam at our hotel pool. Next day-off to the zoo. It was everything we hoped for except for poor Nora got sick and had to ride in the stroller all day. She actually enjoyed it though. After hours of walking up and down hills Sudden thought it would be a great idea to invent a zoo where people sit in chairs and the animals go by on a conveyor belt. On the ride home we thought up a great movie idea titled-Zooecutive Decision-where the president visits the zoo only to be trapped in it with terrorist. The sign language gorilla ends up saving his life after freeing all the other animals.
